My Scottish Trip: Old Man of Storr, Eilean Donan, Glenfinnan & Glencoe

DAY 2: Old Man of Storr, Eilean Donan Castle and Glenfinnan Viaduct

After passing through the Isle of Skye's coral beach, fairy pools and Portree, I continued on many other incredible places west Scotland has to offer. A friend and I dashed to the nearest postcard-selling small shop before catching to bus in the early morning on Saturday,  and here we were on the road again to reach our first destination of the day, Old Man of Storr.

My Scottish Trip: Coral Beaches, Fairy Pools & Portree

DAY 1: Coral Beaches, Fairy Pools & Portree

As soon as I knew I was going to spend a few months in Scotland for my internship, the first thing that popped in my mind was how much travelling I was going to get out of it - along with the memories I was about to make. I've got to say that after three months here, it pans out. I am currently living in the north-east area and I mainly wished to explore the wild west coast, before heading south and chiefly visit the capital, Edinburgh (which I can't wait for in May).

My Little Flower Box - April 2016 Edition

Bonjour ! Let me introduce you to My Little Flower Box, the very springy My Little Box's April edition. It was my first time ordering a beauty box online, and I can genuinely say it won't be the last. In a nutshell, it's been years that I had wanted to take the plunge and receive a lovely surprise someday I wasn't completely expecting; it eventually came true when I noticed My Little Box floral theme going on this month and couldn't help but yield to it.

How To Become An Efficient Shopper

• Striped shirt: Primark • Off-shoulder top: H&M • Real suede skirt: Stradivarius • Perfume: Miss Dior Eau de Toilette
Using a smarter approach when it comes to buying your clothes will help carrying out most daily wardrobe-related tasks such as selecting new outfits, packing for trips and organising your closet. As a matter of fact, this requires taking some time to define what you want your wardrobe to look like and what to spend your money on. It might be a little bit frustrating at the beginning as you don’t really know what you want or what to begin with, but eventually with some effort put into it you will notice a real shift in the way you consider your sartorial purchases.

The perks of adopting higher standards mean that the range of clothes which fit your criteria will shrink. Being able to select items that truly reflect your choices ensure that those who fail the test get filtered out early in the process; plus, you won’t have to deal with bad buys frustrations later on and your wardrobe will only contain items that fit your personal style. Below are several pieces of advice to reckon when shopping for clothes – about the questions you should ask yourself in the process, try to only buy items that tick all boxes.

How To Shop Sustainable

"Buy less, choose well and make it last"
These wise words by Vivienne Westwood perfectly summarise the outcome of this blogpost. Tired of not being completely satisfied of the pieces hanging in your wardrobe? Next time, pick your items with more care when strolling around town. But here lies the difficulty: how to be sure the clothes we see on coat racks in our favourite boutiques are going to bring us the same satisfaction as when they were tried on in the fitting rooms? In other words, how to shop well and as a direct consequence, to buy less and avoid overspending when we can't afford it?

How To Clear Your Wardrobe

credits: pinterest at @bonjourwhite
When I moved out of Strasbourg and came back home, I was faced with a case of overflowing suitcase and replete wardrobe; I had no other choice but to try to unclutter the best I could. Fortunately I had had a read at Marie Kondo's The Life Changing Magic of Tidying on the train. Although a little bit too extreme at times, I have to say it really helped to put me on the move. I seized the opportunity to free some precious space and also to make a big winter spring clean... It took me two entire days to go through my whole wardrobe - for your information I decided to do everything at once, which proved to be extremely effective - however this time-consuming activity left me with an immense feeling of satisfaction and the promise I would never clutter my wardrobe again. Introducing my first style post, here are a few pieces of advice when it comes to clear your wardrobe!
